I work best where software has to move something physical, and I bring the infrastructure habits with me when I get there: document it, automate it, make it recoverable.

Network Engineer

Data-centre network engineering across a multi-vendor estate: Arista, Juniper and legacy Brocade switching, FortiGate and FortiManager at the edge, A10 load balancing, and CDN and DDoS protection on Myra and CloudFront. Support an ongoing switching refresh with topology diagrams, connection documentation, configuration migration and cut-over. Own RADIUS and SNMP across all devices, alongside VLAN work, PowerDNS, LibreNMS and NetFlow. Drive NetBox as the source of truth: the estate is now documented there end to end, with interfaces, VPNs and tunnels syncing into it automatically.

DevOps Engineer

Built automated patching workflows for hundreds of virtual machines, CI/CD deployment pipelines with Artifactory and Xray, Puppet/Hiera configuration management and Python tooling used across teams. Led and supported production infrastructure migrations.

Operated and troubleshot Linux hosting infrastructure at scale, supported large customer and website migrations, and developed Bash automation for repetitive administration and diagnostics.
